What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our business is a CBD company; our customer base is mostly the LGBTQ+ community. With me being a transgender male and the community needing more companies to represent and stand for them, we decided to be one of those companies :) We represent more than just a CBD company; we stand for family, love, and pride for all. We like to show the community that we are here to support them in all ways we can, by hosting events, raising money, and many more things!
Tell us about yourself
I've always been a huge advocate for the cannabis industry and the plant :) I always wanted to be an entrepreneur and start a business with my family. My dad had come to my brother and me a few years back and asked us to start thinking of business ideas. I had already been working in the cannabis industry and saw how much the plant had helped people, and I wanted to create something to do the same and benefit people. The endocannabinoid system is something everyone has, and when CBD is introduced to our bodies, it does magical things :) Being able to share amazing products that are helping so many people is something I have always wanted to do. That is what keeps me motivated, just hearing all the stories about how our products have truly changed people's lives.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I would have to say I truly have pride in the products I am selling and the way our company helps the community.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
There will always be something else to do. When you own a business, you don't really check out. You are thinking about that business 24.7.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Make sure to create an outlined goal for where you see your company going. Make sure to have enough capital and don't rush. Thinking about the way you spend your money is so important, make sure to never put all your eggs into one basket :)
