What's your business, and who are your customers?

I provide AI-powered Qualitative/sentiment analysis to brand/product/service marketers. Zeitgeist is able to help them read, listen and learn both what consumers are saying about and what they feel about them. It's done at scale (therefore not sample limited) and is infinitely more powerful than some existing Qual research techniques used today.

Tell us about yourself

I am a lifelong marketer. I am driven by learning, breaking the status quo, and looking for better ways to 'crack the nut' that delivers powerful insights.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Just getting started - I've only recently 'launched' after spending a couple of years sorting out how to translate the power of the platform into a digestible and accessible means of informing clients.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Learning to do it all. As a marketer, I know what I need to know about my stuff. It's all the other things - finance, sales, admin, and more - that you need to get to know pretty quickly.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Lean in.
  2. Failure is learning.
  3. Don't be afraid to seek outside inputs.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I firmly believe that you are your own captain. More so today than ever before. Big organizations are not necessarily the safest places from a career perspective. The advent of an even more distributed workforce, driven by advances in the digital realm, means new and powerful new opportunities.
