What's your business, and who are your customers?

We make fudge, caramel, and other treats and retail them at the same store. Customers come from around the world, and of course, lots of local customers regularly come back for their favorites.

Tell us about yourself

We had just moved to Jasper, and I was looking for an opportunity, and I saw this business for sale. My family is all chocolate lovers, and it seemed like the perfect fit.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I'm most proud of starting recycling programs and reducing the use of plastic bags using composite bags. We have also created many unique chocolates and treats.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Hiring and retaining staff is a real challenge in a resort town.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

My tips include having great customer service, great staff, and quality products.
