What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a certified Life Coach specializing in spiritual life coaching. I work with a wide range of clients and offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each individual I speak with.

I got started in this line of work as I believe it's my purpose and calling to help people through their traumas or life issues.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Even if I only help one person through my work, it's still worth it. But hopefully, I've positively impacted the lives of many more.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest part of my business is that I become emotionally invested in my clients. I am motivated to see them take leaps forward in their lives and sometimes find that difficult if I feel they can be moving faster. Fortunately, due to my current client list, I am not in a position where I have to worry about paying my bills -- but obviously, that was a concern at the start.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Have a business plan.
  2. Enjoy what you do.
  3. Have a support system around you.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I believe almost anyone can succeed in starting a business. However, that does not necessarily mean it is the right move for everyone. If you're motivated and passionate about your business, have a solid business plan, and are able to manage your stress levels effectively, then it may be worth you making the leap!
