What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our Company offers a full service "Home Readying" Service whether it is the senior downsizing, the busy family needing a second set of hands, or an Estate that needs to be cleared.
Tell us about yourself
I was in the Media industry for over 30 years. It became apparent that our clients were targeting the elder client and the baby boomer during that time. I came up with a solution for the growing "Senior Downsizing/Estate Clearing/Busy Family" needing assistance.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Having little to no turn-over with my team.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
You never stop the hustle. You are always working even in your sleep, but something worth having is worth working for.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Never take the "bulk offer" when printing advertising materials. Never listen to "don't hire friends of friends," and NEVER underestimate the stay-at-home mom with limited hours per day to work; they are the cornerstone of my team.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
It has been tough, but boy, the effort has made me so proud of the outcome.
