What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is a holistic health practice. My customers are people looking to feel better using natural healing modalities.
Tell us about yourself
I was first certified as a reflexologist because I loved how reflexology made me feel. It was a whole-body relaxation I had never experienced before. That introduced me to more natural healing modalities, and I landed in doing a master's degree in Chinese Medicine. Practicing as an acupuncturist, I was privileged to witness what caused people pain, physically and emotionally. I was frustrated that I could not always help my patients feel better. That frustration led to cultivating more tools that could enhance mind-body healing. Some tools include hypnosis, EFT, health and life coaching, and mind-body medicine practices.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have a business that truly helps people help themselves experience authentic health and true joy.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
All the back end of owning a business: accounting, marketing, content creation, etc.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Remember that the business is not about you. It's about who you serve.
- Trust in your offer - you have to believe that what you do makes a difference.
- Be clear about your vision and then be unattached to the outcome.
