What's your business, and who are your customers?

We sell Acupressure Mats to help those who care about actively improving their self-care feel the best they have ever felt.

Tell us about yourself

I got started after getting hit by a van on my bike as I cycled through London. The resulting concussion led me to use an acupressure mat and inspired me to create my own in order to help other people heal.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is five stars on Trustpilot, as well as hundreds of emails from people who are feeling better every day from our products.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Being a business owner means knowing when to achieve and knowing when to reflect. Reflection and slowing down is something I'm working on.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Find a Mentor - preferably someone ahead of you by five years.
  2. Grow, But With Metrics - pick three metrics and focus on those; you don't need a dashboard.
  3. Admit Mistakes Early - the earlier you do, the more you will be able to recover from them. Mistakes are part of the game!
