What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business helps financial professionals feel better in their bodies and minds through yoga and well-being services.

Tell us about yourself

I currently work at Deutsche Bank as a regulatory policy specialist. I'm also a yoga and mindfulness teacher who leads sessions with colleagues.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

For me, developing my personal and professional brand and being able to bring so much positive well-being to others within the financial sector. I've had to be bold, different, and persistent in creating what I have achieved.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Being consistent with content production and the daily to-do lists, especially if you have other commitments.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start small but get going. Set an intention and start working on it.
  2. Be consistent with producing quality content to raise your profile. People will find you if they are interested in your product.
  3. Have grit and determination. At times, you will feel tired. However, with the right attitude as well as looking after one's well-being, persistence will breed results.
