Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in coaching but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Geovanna Burgess White and Yvette Valdenegro, Co-Founders of YG Collaborations, located in Houston, TX, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

As Relationship Coaches, we are trained in specific tools to create action plans and frameworks to build successful marriages and help women as they recover from divorce. We concentrate on the present and the future, helping you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

We are known for being straightforward yet have a compassionate approach to helping women create the marriage they desire. A combined 20 years of coaching experience positions us to guide women to the marriage they always wanted but didn't know they could create.

Tell us about yourself

Our goal is to help women redesign the relationships they want and deserve. The staggering statistic of over 50% of all marriages ending in divorce is daunting. Women of all backgrounds find themselves in relationships that have grown apart and living a life they are embarrassed to claim. Although surroundings may tell you to leave, there is no hope, it's all because of your partner, or you are too advanced in marital years to fix anything. That is not true. Over 20 years of counseling & life coaching experience leads to one statement: You can "REdesign your Relationship ." This statement is not marketing jargon but truth.

Through our acclaimed teaching and framework, you will see hope. You will begin to view yourself differently and make choices for yourself that change everything around you. Are you at the point of wanting more? Willing to do what it takes? Then this is where the hope begins! Take your first step toward the new you today.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Our most significant accomplishments as business owners come from seeing women's lives transform, change, and abundantly live the lives they create. This lasting transformation influences all their relationships, and personal growth flourishes positively for all the people around them.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The work-life balance between the hours, mental & emotional energy, and physical exhaustion, is one of the most challenging obstacles to overcome as a business owner. The drive to succeed can negatively outweigh the need to manage your personal life. Maintaining balance, a manageable schedule, and the emotional roller coaster of the ebbs and flows of business is a must.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Make sure the service or product you provide will add immense value to a specific niche.
  2. Maintain a healthy and manageable work-life balance.
  3. Choose to do whatever will light you up daily and motivate you even on the hard days.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

We know the value of being the best version of yourself is priceless. We can't measure or place a monetary value on growth, change, and the ability to REdesign your life. We can say your value as the best version of yourself compared to the deficit of failed relationships, divorce, and broken families are devastating. You are worth the time to become the best version of yourself. You are worth being the author of your own story and planning out the life you deserve to avoid or overcome any more devastation.
