Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Gerad Kite, Founder and Director of Yellow Path, located in London, United Kingdom.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a Five-Element acupuncture school, and we teach mature students how to be professional acupuncturists.

Tell us about yourself

I first discovered Five-Element acupuncture in the 1980s when I lived in San Francisco. It fascinated me in its philosophy but also its effectiveness as a complete system of medicine. I trained in the UK and went to start my own school.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Seeing my students go out and start their own practices and see the ripple effect of helping thousands of people.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Dealing with lots of different peoples' needs. Wanting to be all things for all people is hard.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Be kind to the people you choose to work with and build trust by being fair and providing a healthy workspace.
