What's your business, and who are your customers?
Yadkin Physical Therapy is a Christian, privately owned, operated physical therapy outpatient clinic in Yadkinville, NC. We serve all the people of our community, from infants to geriatrics, with a wide range of diagnoses and treatment options. We help orthopedic, neurological, sports-injured, vestibular, and post-surgical patients, as well as provide work conditioning programs and Functional Capacity Evaluations.
Yadkin Physical Therapy offers complete physical therapy care, back pain treatment, aquatic therapy, pre and post-surgical treatment, and sports and work injury care. We serve the communities of Yadkinville, Boonville, East Bend, Hamptonville, Elkin, Clemmons, Winston-Salem, Jonesville, Lewisville, and Mocksville. Our services currently include the following: physical therapy services, work conditioning, dry needling, K-laser treatments, personal training, nutrition education services, workshops, running rehabilitation courses, golf swing assessments, CPR training, and wellness programs.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Kaleb Hill, and I am blessed to be one of the business owners of Yadkin Physical Therapy. God opened the doors for me to be able to be in the position I am in today, so all glory goes to Him. I was originally in school to be an Athletic Trainer at Wingate University, and while pursuing that degree, I found a passion for Physical Therapy. I love having the opportunity to show all of our patients Christ's love while helping them physically get stronger to be able to return to their normal routines.
My passion is to help others get healthier physically while encouraging them spiritually. I lost my grandfather at a young age due to complications following a fall he had, so that motivates me to help our patients get back to their best physical versions of themselves so they can continue to have that time with family.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The biggest accomplishment for us at Yadkin Physical Therapy is our patients! They are the reason we are in business, and we have accomplished so much through always implementing new practice techniques as well as always expanding what we offer here at Yadkin Physical Therapy. We recently purchased new equipment and are constantly reviewing the most up-to-date research in order to give our patients the best care. All of these accomplishments are only due to giving God the glory and Him blessing us through our patients.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing I have run into as a business is dealing with the uncertainty of what tomorrow or next week will bring. In our field, our schedule is constantly changing, with patients needing to be seen or, unfortunately, needing to cancel. We must adapt to what is going on to give our patients the best care possible while also making tough decisions that benefit the company. Even in the tough times, though, we strive to honor God through prayers for discernment of how to handle even the toughest of decisions.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Give all the glory to God.
- Don't ever be content, and continue to strive for greatness.
- Never be afraid to ask for advice and help.
