What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our World Adventures Travel blog grew out of love for family travel and world schooling and an obsession with researching and writing. Our readers are any humans who love to travel, and especially those who are looking to make a full-time or long-term journey happen for themselves and their families.
Professionally, I am also a pediatric speech pathologist. I have been treating children with speech and stuttering disorders for over 15 years. I now do this online, offering parent training and consultations.
Tell us about yourself
More details can be found on our website about our family's journey from traditional schooling, to homeschooling, to unschooling, and then to world schooling. I have always run my own professional businesses, and now I am working hard to live a more balanced life and be present with my children. I have always loved writing, and I am an obsessive research junkie. So when I began planning our own family's transition to full-time traveling, I decided to put online what I learned and have learned for others to benefit from!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Fifteen years of success professionally, and now using those skills in a new way to support my family and travel.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The crushing weight of responsibility! And the thousands of extra hours put in to grow and maintain a solid reputation. But, it is 100% worth the flexibility.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Is there anything else you'd like to share?
At the moment, my focus is on our World Adventures Travel blog, training and consulting with other families regarding both traveling and working and providing excellent speech therapy consultations for those on the road!
