What's your business, and who are your customers?
Wit and Bubbles LLC is a soap manufacturing company based in Buford, GA. Soaps and shampoo bars are joyfully handmade with amazing ingredients and are safe for the whole family. Event planners and local business owners are crucial customers as well since Wit and Bubbles offers award-winning event favors and wholesale and private label opportunities.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Helena Keasler, and I started Wit and Bubbles with high hopes for amazing soaps. I wanted to have an outlet for my science background, my punny sense of humor, and my deep desire to bring forth God's Kingdom with my whole life, including my business. I'm motivated with heavenly joy to be a sender of missionaries, to help people celebrate their big events with favors, and to ultimately elevate the cleansing moments of entire families with uplifting and quality suds.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I love that Wit and Bubbles has a growing customer base who rave that the soap is wonderful for their whole family, for their events and for their growing businesses. I also love that this company provides an opportunity for fundraising missionaries, blessing them with more finances to go where King Jesus leads and spread bubbly joy to their donors.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Boundaries and discernment have been challenging as a business owner. As the business grows, goals expand and change. Some opportunities arise that aren't fitting with the direction the brand is headed. Prayer and the right mentorship have been essential for setting good boundaries and discerning whether or not to accept or decline opportunities.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
If I could give three tips to someone looking to start and grow a business today, tip number one would be to do something you're excellent at doing (5-star reviews!), and that brings you joy. Secondly, have a business mentor who is ahead of you in the journey and will give you insight and priceless wisdom in the field. Finally, don't hold back!
