What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our mission is to provide business consulting, training, and development services that allow organizations to achieve higher levels of competitiveness, efficiency, and profitability.

Tell us about yourself
I am William Chesnutt, the Founder & CEO of Strategic Development Group LLC. I hold an MBA from the University of Redlands; a MAM with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from American Military University; and a Graduate Certificate in Human Capital Leadership and Logistics Management from American Military University.
I am a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Resilience-Building Leadership Professional – Trainer. I'm also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a small business mentor with SCORE. I am pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Leadership and Development at Capella University.
In my free time, I enjoy attending MLB games, hiking with my wife, and making road trips around the United States.
I started my journey in business because I wanted to improve the business world outside of the limitations placed by other organizations I had worked with before. What motivates me each day is knowing that I am making a difference in organizations and the people that work in them.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The biggest accomplishment as a business owner is being able to help the worldwide community by helping to create businesses that can stand the economic tests that lie around every corner.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner is finding the balance between working on your business and your business. The ultimate goal is always to work on, not in, your business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Stay true to who you are, be honest and fair, and take care of your clients, and they will take care of you.
