What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is Custom Handmade Sterling Silver Jewelry. My customers are empowered women wanting to wear unique pieces - express their uniqueness and belonging.
Tell us about yourself
I fell in love with jewelry making just by chance over 20 years ago. It became such a draw to be the medium where I could express my soul's essence and endlessly explore my creativity in sterling. My designs called to many, and gratefully I committed to making this my sole career.. as I am built to work for myself. I'm a leader, a free thinker, a creative, and a powerhouse. Empowering jewelry is perfect for me to create Because it suits my clients and me.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is keeping my business flourishing through the world's ups and downs.. as I have discovered, it's more what I believe and what I create rather than circumstance. The accomplishment is knowing that success is based on passion, perseverance, and true inner power.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Organizing.. having systems, and keeping track of all the numbers. This is why I have a Bookkeeper, thank god. Secondly .. mapping and implementing business plans are not my forte, and I believe my success would be more international if this was the case.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Go all in.
- Face every fear you have around your self-worth, showing up, and your beliefs on money.
- Don't listen to anyone or anything but your heart.
