What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am an Integrative Pediatric Board Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), trained in utilizing Functional Medicine Nutrition Therapy to tackle the underlying causes of chronic conditions and inflammation at the root of issues such as autism, ADHD, GI problems, autoimmune conditions, and more.
Tell us about yourself
I started on the path of Integrative Nutrition when my oldest son was diagnosed with autism and also had multiple underlying health factors. We were able to address his complex digestive problems and behaviors through nutrition. With that healing, he began communicating and speaking more to us. I wanted to share with others the impact nutrition truly has on every aspect of our bodies and healing. My children are my motivation.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is seeing the kids I work with get healthier and feel better.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest aspects of being a business owner is knowing when and how to take financial risks.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
If you have a passion and want to start, run and grow a business, there is no better time than now. Just start. There will never be the "perfect" time, but you will never know if it is right for you until you try it out.
