What's your business, and who are your customers?
I outfit well rounded girls in fashionable and functional athleisure wear leggings. My clients are women who want to feel confident wearing super high-rise-waisted, no-see-through leggings.
Tell us about yourself
Looking for a larger size of legging from a popular brand is sometimes tough. There would be a beautiful legging I want to wear, but the size I wear is sold out, or worse yet, they don't fit my body type. I decided to create my own legging brand according to ladies with my body type. Seeing ladies wearing my leggings with confidence motivates me to keep creating for my community.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is not only starting my own legging line but creating an American-made legging line.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner is you're the boss. If you don't create systems and delegate, you will slow down your growth.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do not waste time and find your passion.
- Find a mentor that is achieving the very things you want to master.
- Delegate, delegate, delegate. I wasted valuable time figuring tech out when I could have hired a subject matter expert.
