What's your business, and who are your customers?
WealthPlan™ by Ryan Leslie is an interactive financial literacy and wealth-building club. We teach busy professionals and business owners how to invest (and trade) with the goal of exponential growth of capital using a mix of passive and active strategies.
Tell us about yourself
I started in the music business, earning a Grammy nomination for my sophomore album after producing a string of multi-platinum releases for other artists, including Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, and Kanye West. After reading a number of stories chronicling the financial woes of many who earn too much too quickly, I focused my attention on building a simple benchmarking strategy that I could share with anyone interested in growing their wealth aggressively.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Showing 5-figure earners the pathway to a $10M+ net worth via compounding is always massively rewarding.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
As an early-stage entrepreneur, though you wear many hats, you must be good enough in all categories to get the business to a place where you are able to employ others who are better than you are in specific areas.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
