Tell us all about your business...

I build exceptional voices with precision, without pressure.

What's your background and motivation to get into the solopreneur life?

I have a passion for a voice that began with me as a singer. When I learned there was a scientific aspect to say, it excited me. I became a voice-specialized speech-language pathologist. Now I spend my time both teaching healthy voices and rehabilitating voices for both speaking and singing.

As a business owner, what does success ultimately mean to you?

Achieving the Certificate of Intensive Training in Motivational Interviewing allows me to help people better conceptualize and manifest their goals.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Finding a balance between obligations to the business and the other things that I'd like to do in life.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run or grow a business today?

  1. Form genuine relationships with your clients. People can always figure out who cares about them.
  2. Invest time in determining the best tools for your tech stack. Don't just implement things in your business because they are the latest or most popular.
  3. Keep learning to be the best you can be at what you do.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Just because you don't "go viral" on social media doesn't mean you have a successful business model. Be willing to do the work and grow organically.
