What's your business, and who are your customers?
Hello, my name is Silvia Fassardi, founder of Vivente group. Our company is dedicated to creating scent candles, reed diffusers, and other natural aromatics products for the home. We create our exclusive line with a large collection of different fragrance candles and reed diffusers for our online store and brick-and-mortar located in South Miami. Also, we provide a very special service of private label for corporates and private, including special events like weddings, seminars, birthdays party, etc.
Tell us about yourself
I am a jeweler designer, graduated silversmith, and a diamond specialist from the GIA Gemological Institute of America. I have a passion for minerals and geology. As a designer, I was exposed to wax every day since we always carve the masterpiece in that material. One day, let's say that it was a kind of enlightened moment and making the first candle as a gift for some of my clients in jewelry came into my mind. A few days after I was in my kitchen making some ...of course, they reached our terrible; they were not good, they were making soot and a little smell. Candle making is not easy; it is an art that you master in practice and demands a lot of tricks and study, of course. It took me years to make a decent candle that burns slow, strong hot throw and great price.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Receiving my clients and the positive comments about our products is all about. To make them feel great and peaceful at home or in places is all about my job, creating an ambiance that releases any stress or anxiety from their daily duties.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Definitely not only as a businesswoman but also as an immigrant also comes the challenges. We need to work harder to show that we are an asset in this society.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Get a mentor.
- Make sure you have the resources to start a good business. Focus on learning your craft better than anyone.
- Learn about online strategies; the way people connect is different now.
