Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Vito Laspugato, founder of Vito's Wellness, located in Voorhees, NJ, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
I help 40+-year-old men and women transform their lives through health and fitness. I specialize in comprehensive individualized assessment using cutting-edge rating systems to provide custom programs for the biological genetics and lifestyle of the person.
Tell us about yourself
I have been a certified nutritionist, fasting coach, and fitness coach for over 15 years. With over 3,000 clients being transformed through my program, I aimed to instill the abilities that I had experienced and learned in order to correct my health balance. Now, in my mid 40s, I understand what it's like to be a full-time parent while still easily keeping my health and wellness a priority.
My motivation: I LOVE to feel great, have the energy to perform endless tasks, as well as experience the gratitude of my clients' lives changing for the better. I like the idea of being the change we wish to see in the world. It's important on many levels, let alone a responsibility. And it can be fun!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
As a self-employed business owner, my biggest accomplishment is experiencing that successful entrepreneurial reward. When your referrals keep coming in, you know you have impacted many people's lives.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Having high expectations of myself can be a little overwhelming at times. Wanting the best outcome for my clients can sometimes lead to me being a perfectionist. So, while my confidence in my program is undoubtedly strong, my confidence is occasionally over-achieved.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Hustle is key in the beginning. But don't go in blindly. Find someone, like myself, who has found the solutions to reach an audience and has a system in place for success. Don't invest a ton of money at first. Use the platforms out there, and then begin reinvesting your money as profit is attainable.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
If you or someone you know is looking to step up their wellness, lose belly fat, triple their energy, and gain strength while reversing their health conditions, then have them reach out. They will only be grateful they did.
