What's your business, and who are your customers?

Visionary Advantages is a brand strategy group that helps businesses strategically stand out online with digital marketing so that they can attract their ideal clients consistently. Our customers are businesses that have been established for a while but are ready to level up their marketing and increase their sales!

Tell us about yourself

I first got into marketing in the fashion industry and realized over time that I had a calling for entrepreneurship. I took a leap of faith and listened to that entrepreneurial "voice,"-- and over time, my business has evolved into a few different entrepreneurial endeavors. One of them is my digital course, The Business Launch Lab, which helps new and aspiring entrepreneurs kickstart their business creation journey. For me, seeing my clients' marketing come to life and watching them grow has been a major motivational force-- as well as seeing my clients take their business ideas and bringing those to life has been extremely rewarding.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Creating meaningful partnerships with my amazing clients has been the most rewarding accomplishment so far! I am inspired by business owners and love working side by side creatively with them on a regular basis.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Pushing forward every single day, even when facing setbacks, can be extremely challenging! The fact is, however, as a business leader and owner-- you are the one that has to keep the motivation alive and move the business through the tough spots even when you don't want to.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. I recommend that anyone looking to start a business just get started! There are so many unknowns, but you'll figure it out along the way. No one starts out perfectly-- so just get started!
  2. Create an awesome online presence and do market research to establish branding. This will set you up to attract your dream clients.
  3. Lastly, streamline/automate as much as you can-- and hire some help as soon as you're able to, even on a budget. The moment you realize your time is money, and you could be doing big-picture business-building rather than small tasks, the faster you'll allow yourself to grow. Investing in yourself and your business is a great thing!
