What's your business, and who are your customers?
I help single professional women create healthy and fulfilling relationships and set themselves up for a successful life partnership.
Tell us about yourself
After years of dead-end relationships, I finally worked with a coach who helped me shift the unhelpful patterns that kept me single. That lead me to find the love of my life.
As a former teacher, I witnessed the trauma my students experienced living in homes with dysfunctional parents. So I studied to become a trauma-informed relationship coach who helps women create healthy relationships so they and their families can thrive.
Witnessing my clients' transformation and heart-opening gets me out of bed each day. And watching them fall in love with genuinely great partners is the ultimate joy. Also, I love being my own boss!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I would have to say it's creating a program that delivers profound transformation for my clients. I'm a learning nerd, so I'm constantly adding to my toolbox to support my clients in knowing themselves, owning their lives, and opening their hearts to the magic of real and lasting love
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Finding the right marketing strategy and business plan that both reach my ideal clients and aligns with my strengths, values, and lifestyle. It's an ever-evolving challenge.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Choose your mentors carefully. Choose people who will get into the weeds with you, so you learn quickly what works and what doesn't.
- Realize that this is a marathon, not a sprint. Fail often and get up always. Take risks and learn from your mistakes.
- Gather around your friends and colleagues who know you well and will support you through thick and thin. These will be your most cherished assets in building your business.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I have a wall in my office covered with photos of happy clients with their partners. This inspires me every day.
