What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a creative brand that empowers other creatives through workshops, retreats, coaching, and our newest product: Le Brush.
Tell us about yourself
Finding something that I was great at and helping others. I started out as a wedding planner and designer because I was both creative and organized, and I thought I would be doing that for the rest of my life. After starting a family, my priorities shifted, and I realized that I wanted to be there for my kids, but I still wanted to serve the industry, and I was really great at sketching out my ideas. From there, I launched my first sketching workshop teaching design professionals in the wedding/events industry how to sketch out their visions. It was then that I turned my passion into helping other creatives to build a life and business that is soul-aligned. What motivates me is seeing how our products, courses, or tools have helped others along their journey. I love making an impact and helping other creatives, so when I see how our work inspires others, it makes me want to keep going.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to build a sustainable creative design business with my aligned talents, strengths, and mission.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
There are many hard things; for example, managing a team is challenging for me, or learning different marketing channels in the ever-changing landscape. Growing a business and knowing that you don't know it all and being able to acknowledge that, and asking for help.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Build a community around core values, build a strong brand, and focus on giving the best customer experience.
