I was looking for passive income, and realized vending has been virtually untouched, as an industry -- we go beyond dropping a machine and waiting for service calls.
Also, our company mission motivates me. I see so many possibilities.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Starting from the ground up at zero money while homeless. Somehow I organized some thoughts together, and it's become a growing enterprise and a way to live.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Finding days off.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Learn from those who have succeeded—listen to some audiobooks and lectures.
- Learn as much as you can about everything your business touches. Be knowledgeable.
- Keep going when it feels like going through hell.
