What's your business, and who are your customers?
I offer Reiki, Sound Healing, Angel Healing, Spiritual Counseling, and Spiritual Life Coaching to adults. Healing sessions include some sound therapy, chakra balancing, crystal healing, and of course, the complete treatment. Afterward, there is time to discuss what may have come up during the session.
Everyone is welcome. But people who are new to Reiki or just beginning their wellness journey seem to visit me the most often.
Tell us about yourself
I've been into all things metaphysical since I was a teenager. It started with reading a Louise L. Hay book and expanded from there. Now I have a degree in metaphysics and am an active minister. I'm a level 3 Reiki Practitioner and hold certificates in Angel Healing, Sound Therapy, and much more.
The ability to help people along on their wellness journies keeps me inspired. My clients frequently tell me that they feel "lighter" after sessions, and I love being able to assist with that.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I believe that my biggest accomplishment as a business owner is having the courage to begin my business. It's always a risk when starting a new venture like that. But I'm so grateful that I took the plunge. I love what I do now and plan to continue doing it for a long time.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I'm sure it's different for every business owner. But for me, the hardest part is keeping active on social media. I enjoy social media and getting to interact with so many different people. But sometimes, it feels like it takes me longer than it should.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Believe in yourself.
- Research, research, and research some more.
- If you can, delegate the tasks that overwhelm you or that take up too much time.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
My business is still relatively new. I am continuing to grow, and I know that I have a lot left to learn. Small business owners coming together to share and encourage each other makes me happy, and I hope to be able to help others someday like those who have taught me.
