Tell us all about your business...
We are The Original Hard Coconut Water! We combine natural coconut water, with either Triple distilled Vodka or premium white rum, in a can with a splash of sparkling water!
What's your background and motivation to grow as a solopreneur?
I have always been an extremely hard worker, and I figured if I’m going to work hard for anyone, I should work hard on myself and in my own companies! There is nothing more motivating than creating unique drinks that everyone enjoys! It’s was all an idea, and now CoCo is enjoyed in 2 countries, 30 states, four provinces, and expanding fast!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I would have to say all the amazing compliments/pics and crazy videos we receive of people enjoying CoCo Vodka and CoCo Rum! To know we created something that brings a little more joy to their day, and they take the time to share that with us is pretty rewarding and memorable!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a solopreneur?
Keeping a strong mindset! Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart! You’ll be faced with endless paths, decisions, and challenges on your journey! Stay positive, focused and don’t forget to celebrate along the way!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Start small before you go all-in with your business.
- Know that anything is possible if you are persistent and passionate about what you are starting/creating.
- Never stop learning! Invest in yourself with books about finance and entrepreneurship before you start your business and while you grow your business!
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I believe the strongest businesses of the future will support innovation and diversity! Talk doesn’t cook rice, though, and it’s up to all of us to make a change for the better while we are here!
