What's your business, and who are your customers?
UnVeil Natural Herbal Apothecary is a wellness center geared toward community healing by using botanical and herbal holistic treatment. Specializing in respiratory health and reproductive healing. Our clients range from assisting in stopping nicotine addiction as well to women seeking to heal their wombs and preparing for pregnancy while treating endometriosis, fibroids, cysts, and infertility.
Tell us about yourself
Coming from a cosmetology background of 10 years, my clients struggled with high blood pressure, diabetes, and many other ailments. I have always been in the business of service, propelling me to service the internal so my clients will feel good inside and out.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is hearing the stories of my clients who have recovered from illness or even my biggest achievement of 5 pregnancies this year, ranging from endometriosis fibroids and IVF prep.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing about being a business owner is keeping motivated, knowing that you are assisting your community. Knowing that there is the biggest purpose. There are days when you are depleted. You are your biggest critic and have discipline and self-motivation.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Build a Support Network.
- Be Very Specific With Your Goals.

Healing community is not about putting our problems off on another person but about holding space for us to set down the weight we’re carrying for a while, and sometimes it’s even about letting others hold and share our weight while we do the same for them.
