What's your business, and who are your customers?

Our business is manufacturing and selling hand-made craft kombucha beer and tea in 22 states (and growing).

Tell us about yourself

My wife (and Co-Founder/business partner) had the 'crazy' idea to start a kombucha company back in 2008. It's been a long and winding road, but I'm very thankful that I took it and said 'YES!' Each day, I am motivated to better as many people's lives as possible by providing them healthy and vibrationally-infused beverages!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have two biggest accomplishments: 1) my wife and I being trailblazers and creating a new craft beer segment (hard kombucha 2011) and 2) keeping this business going and growing for 14 years!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Managing cash flow.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Follow your heart and intuition.
  2. You have to 'Jump off the Cliff' to make it a go - being a business owner is not for the cautious or faint of heart.
  3. Be prepared to work harder than you have ever worked at anything in your entire life!
