What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am the proud owner and curator of Studio Eclectics, also known as Studio E. My ladies have a BIG, BOLD, & UNAPOLOGETIC style. They are trendsetters and fashion-forward.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Ty! I am an only child originally from NYC. My love for accessories started with my late great-grandmother Gracie Williams. She has inspired my style and passion for fashion ever since I was a little girl. She loved bracelets and rings and necklaces and was always over-accessorized. I LOVE that and do the same!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Starting my business. I think that is the part that takes a lot of courage. So I'm so happy I just started!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I would say one of the hardest things about being a business owner is having balance. Being a wife, full-time volunteer, and business owner is a balancing act. I'm still trying to figure this out!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- START- it's the hardest part. Believe in yourself! YOU GOT THIS!
- Always put your family first! They are your #1 supporters.
- Count the cost. Starting a business can be expensive, depending on your niche. Do the research, check your competitors, and do what they aren't to set yourself apart. Be Unique, be you!
