What's your business, and who are your customers?

True Node offers sacred tools and spirit medicine. Things like crystals, divination tools, intention candles, gemstone jewelry, as well as in-person crystal healing, coaching, and soon, classes for children who aspire to be crystal healers. All handmade items are created in sacred space, at a high vibration, and blessed. Customized options are available.

Tell us about yourself

I have been called to this work for as long as I can remember. The longer I ignored it, the more sick and unhappy I became. When I finally started to lean into my gifts and pursue a formal education in my interests, I quickly realized that sharing this with the world is what I want to do for the rest of my life on this planet at this time. I have truly found what we all want, the "do something you love, and you'll never work again."

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I feel like my biggest accomplishment as a business owner so far is taking the leap to pursue my dreams and vision rather than hiding behind the fear of both failure and success.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

For me, the hardest part is not giving everything away. I am so passionate about helping people that money is never my motivation. I have to constantly remind myself that without it, I can't continue to help in this way.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Choose something that lights your fire, even if it's scary or people say it can't be done.
  2. Be mindful of who you share your idea with before opening the business. People have a way of taking our dreams with doubt and discouragement. If you are being called to something, divine guidance is at play.
  3. Know your worth. You don't have to reduce your already fair prices for everyone you know. You, your time, and your services or products are of high quality and worth every penny.
