Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Daniel Martinez Stahl, Owner of True Life Quest LLC., located in Herndon, VA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is comprised of different projects that are all focused on helping people to deepen their understanding of what it means to be both Spirit and human, to take an active role in creating the quality of their lives, and ultimately to experience more love, joy, and abundance. I describe myself as a spiritual development coach and a spirit journey facilitator. The Life Beyond Form spiritual journey is similar to a past life regression or an alternate life, and maybe even exploring the afterlife in-between lives. I host the Channeling Spirit Virtual Summit every three months, the Spiritual Intelligence Podcast, and a couple of different memberships, and soon I will begin to offer my photography. The people I work with are those that have the courage to follow their own wisdom, even if it goes against societal norms and conventions, and that ultimately want to actively create a better and more meaningful life.

Tell us about yourself

My professional life can be described by two simultaneous paths. My corporate life was mostly focused on sales and marketing, but my particular path gave me a broad understanding of the different cross-departmental requirements within an organization. My career took me from the States to London and Singapore. Now I'm back in the States, helping care for my mother, which leads me into the second part of my career.

Since I was young, I have always been fascinated with our psychology to better understand why we do what we do and, more importantly, how we can improve the quality of our lives. While in the corporate world, I studied and explored psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, NLP, the Three Principles, and more recently, Spiritual Regression (Past Lives and In-Between Lives). When COVID started, I needed to stay home because my mother was very high risk, so I began expanding and focusing on building my Spiritual Development business.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

To know that what I do is giving people hope and improving their lives, helping shift the collective consciousness towards love, collaboration, and compassion one person at a time.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

When I was the managing director of a business in Singapore, my biggest challenge was managing all of the different balls that I needed to juggle in order to ensure the business' success. From challenges with staff that were lazy to coordinating with colleagues from all around the world and all the different responsibilities of running the business, which included operational, sales, technology, infrastructure, and personnel.

As a solopreneur of a start-up online-based business, I would say my own personal challenge has revolved around finding clients while building the technological infrastructure to support them, with little to no income, which aligns with my interests in professionalism.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

It's going to sound like a cliché, but follow the energy of your own inspiration. Do what inspires you, what you enjoy. The energy of life is always changing, and allow yourself to shift with the change in your own desires and motivation. Your inspiration comes from your own spiritual intelligence and your own wisdom, and it will always lead you towards the alignment of your true self. Don't force yourself to move in a direction that no longer feels effortless; allow yourself to adapt and shift with the changes of your own desires. The inspiration to start something may lead you directly to your goal, or it may be nothing more than the beginning of the perfect next step. Listen to your inner voice, the one that fills you with hope, love, and joy. Look in the direction of your own happiness, and you will always align with who you are, your purpose, and your greater good.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I believe in transparency and integrity, and I do my best to reflect that across all aspects of my business. I say this because, at the moment, my expenses are much higher than my income, but I am hopeful that this will change in the near future. I continue to focus on offering and doing the things that inspire me and that I enjoy. I fully believe that we are living in an abundant Universe and that everything is here for all of us to live well, thrive, and enjoy life. As humans, we need to take an active role in taking steps along our journey, but we are also working and living within a Universe that has our backs and is responsive to its own timing of things, always with the intention of our highest good. I share this with you because, though my business does not yet earn the money I want it to earn, I can assure you that I am very proud of what I have accomplished, what I am building, and where I am going with True Life Quest LLC, which is representative of my own personal, professional, and spiritual journey.
