What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is a lifestyle brand that showcases the pride within the Hamilton, On community. Our customers range from celebrities and sports stars to babies and grandparents alike.
Tell us about yourself
As an actor based in Hamilton, I constantly heard other people put down my city. This motivated me to wear my pride on my chest and, through that, inspiring many others to do the same. Owning my own business and doing something I truly love has been a game changer for me. Every morning is a new adventure that I embrace with childhood glee.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment to date is all the organizers we have had the privilege of working with and all the charities we have been able to help.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest part for me has been weathering the slow seasons and finding employees that are just as motivated as I am.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Get a good accountant.
- Go all in; if you don't believe in your business, why should anyone else.
- Network like crazy.

Your family and friends are invaluable resources. Let them know what you want to do and insist on them as your biggest cheerleaders.
