What's your business, and who are your customers?
I currently run a transformation coaching business from home online. My customers are usually people who have been in a toxic relationship and are looking for help.
Tell us about yourself
My name is Tifphanie. I started my life coaching business after being in a series of toxic relationships. I learned that my last relationship pushed me to my purpose. I went to school to become a life coach and received my certification. Shortly after, I started my own life coaching business called Transformation Coaching. I sometimes like to incorporate spirituality into my sessions, but that's only if my client is OK with it. I am motivated because I see many people who have been to the same thing as me. I was unaware of how many people were suffering from the same toxic relationship I had been in until I went online. My goal is to spread awareness to people about how these relationships can be detrimental to your health. I also like to educate people on toxic relationships, how I heal from them and how they can heal as well.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner was finding someone who had been through the same thing as me. I was then introduced to another business coach that helped me start my business. Currently, I work with a business coach and an accountability coach that helps me build my brand and network. I never thought I would own my own business, but it's something I always wanted to do; it's the biggest accomplishment that I have made in my life so far.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is attracting new customers. The people I usually market towards sometimes have difficulty trusting people. They usually think I am after their money when I only try to attract their business to help them.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Find people who support your dreams and your beliefs. Usually, when you start a business, you will attract a new soul tribe.
- Don't let others talk you out of your goals! Starting a business is hard; sometimes, you may want to quit, but keep going even if you fail!
- Remember that you are the greatest project you'll ever work on! It is in our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light! "ARISTOTLE ONASSIS "
