What's your business, and who are your customers?
Online fitness business consisting of the Training with T App and the Move Better program. My Training with T App customers ranges from men and females 25-60 years old. My Move Better program's customers are strictly females with low back pain.
Tell us about yourself
I've always been active my entire life. It seemed fitting to go to college and get a degree in Nutrition and Exercise Sciences. I originally wanted to become a physical therapist until one day, as I was working as a trainer to save money for school, I had a client tell me that because of me, she was able to get up from gardening without pain. That was the moment I knew that I was going to make fitness my full-time career. Fast forward to now, I've been blessed to work with brands, be featured in magazines, and be honored to have the Training with T App, voted the best tech app by Women's Health Magazine for best challenges.
What motivates me every day is helping my clients go from pain to pain-free. Getting clients and members to feel like their real self gets me up every morning.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Building the Training with T App and changing many people's lives across the world.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The endless hours. It's a baby; you don't give up on it.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- It doesn't have to be perfect at the first shot.
- Every failure is a win. Use that opportunity to learn from it.
- Be your authentic self. Do not change who you are or change because a trend is going on.
