My business is communicating ideas and coaching solutions for personal growth through a balanced lifestyle.
Tell us about yourself
I am a US Air Force veteran who worked in anti-terrorism and law enforcement, and I worked in the biotech industry before the military. I’ve been a person of duality, and part of my own life’s lesson has been about focusing on balance. Knowing there are a lot of people out there struggling to find their balance. That’s the pivot-point of my coaching and the topic of my podcast.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Becoming self-sustaining with limited resources.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Finding time to meet all the goals within the vision of the business.
What are the top 3 tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Start! Don’t wait for the perfect situation to fall into place or you will never get off the ground.
- Know your audience and be authentic with them. People can smell fakes and phonies.
- Get a mentor. You can’t do it alone. There are people out there that love sharing knowledge and want to pass on how they’ve carved out their success.
If there was one thing you could do repeatedly to help grow your business, what would it be?
Automate and delegate. It allows for better use of your time, your most precious resource.
What are some of the things you put in place to maintain a healthy work/life balance?
Physical activity, rest/recovery, and digital detox time.
Who are some of your favorite entrepreneurs and why?
HighStrike Trading. They are amazing educators that have been helping me learn to trade stocks more successfully in my free time which has given me more freedom to pursue other aspects of my business.
