What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm an online fitness and nutrition coach. I help busy men and women lose fat without giving up carbs or spending hours at the gym.

Tell us about yourself

I became a fitness coach because I grew up overweight, and my mother had stomach cancer. When she passed, it motivated me to want to become healthier and help others so they can live long life. That motivates me to get up and continue serving my clients.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being completely self-sufficient and living life on my own terms.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Wearing multiple hats and not shutting off. You're constantly creating content, taking care of clients, or doing work that it's hard not to relax.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Don't worry about things that don't matter - Website design, company logo, fonts, etc.
  2. Figure out what demographic you want to serve and if it would be profitable.
  3. Experiment and see what works and doesn't work.
