Tell us about yourself

I am deeply committed to helping leaders and their teams to build a culture where people love to work because behaviors arise from strengths instead of fear. There is nothing that kills innovation more than fear-based leadership. In a culture where leaders ensure psychological safety, people are willing to learn, take risks, share ideas and contribute their unique perspectives in a way that cannot be achieved in toxic cultures.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

We have bootstrapped the whole time since founding Tilt365 and grown our influence around the world of business in the technology and science industries - 100% through organic referrals.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Constrained resources require 100% accountability to make profits to survive. This makes you focus with radical prioritization on what matters most.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Make sure you are very committed to your vision because it's going to take incredible tenacity to face all of the challenges you are going to encounter.
  2. Listen to your gut and trust yourself to know what's best for your team more than anyone else will.
  3. Hire highly intelligent people with well-rounded characters because you will rise to the level of the team around you.
