What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a medical aesthetics clinic that vehemently advocates for women. Our mission is to work with women of every age and culture and walk of life to age gracefully. We believe that less is always more, and we will advocate for every client. As a cancer survivor, this is incredibly important to me and remains our mission every single day.

Tell us about yourself

Let's begin with this- getting older is scary for most of us. In our youth, skincare, age prevention, wrinkles, and volume loss are not even on our radar. And then… one day, it's just there. From crow's feet and smile lines to deepening nasolabial folds and loss of volume. Most will panic and begin down the rabbit hole of Botox, fillers, and injections. I wanted to invest my time and my money into finding a solution that would provide long-lasting, dramatic results without resorting to knives or needles.

I contacted every laser therapy manufacturer I could find – I spent time with their clinical professionals, Research and Development teams, and sales reps. I tried every treatment I thought would be useful to test for results, longevity, aesthetics, and pain level. What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Doing the hard work, saying no to women who are looking to do work for the wrong reasons. Be careful only to carry and offer services of value. And investing in the well-being of every human to walks through our doors. We book about three months in advance for most services, which is a testament to what we do every day.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Tuning out the noise from outside voices and following your gut. Working 24/7 and always shining a light on others and listening. Doing the right thing always, everyone's feelings are valid, and we want to ensure every human who steps through our doors feels heard and valued.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Give your all. Be consistent. Show up with passion and vigor every day. Never stop learning. Never be afraid of growth. Take the risk. Always treat the client with unending gratitude and energy, and go the extra mile. Don't be afraid of failing; if you do all of the above, you can never fail.
