What's your business, and who are your customers?

At Destiny of Purpose, I provide life coaching and counseling for women and girls. My ideal clients are women who feel stuck in life, relationships, and careers. The women and girls I work with find themselves feeling stuck in one of these four categories: purposeful, dreamers, dabblers, and disengaged. Being able to help my clients move from feeling stuck to being optimistic, resilient, and hopeful experiencing joy, happiness, and satisfaction is always the highlight of my passion for helping women and girls.

Tell us about yourself

After many years of working as a Mental Health Therapist and Substance Abuse Counselor, finding my passion has led me to my purpose. My passion is doing what comes naturally without feeling stressed… it is serving, listening, empathizing, helping, comforting, encouraging, and coaching. I am passionate about working with women and girls who have experienced grief or loss, emotional, physical, or any form of abuse, heartbreaks, anxiety, and setbacks in life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

One of my greatest accomplishments is being able to start a business that focuses on women and girls finding their passion and living a purpose-filled life without feeling stuck.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things about being a business owner is going through the different phases. Growth and establishment/survival can be challenging.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Find their passion and pursue it.
  2. Commit to staying focused on your goals.
  3. Connect with other like-minded solopreneurs. Networking and marketing are vital.
