What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a farm-to-table pop-up bakery making thoughtfully created comfort food. Our customers are Charlotte folks that care about where their food comes from and appreciates old techniques and comfort food while exploring what each new season brings.
Tell us about yourself
I have 20 years of culinary and pastry experience in the Charlotte area, from fine dining to catering to French pastries. I am passionate about local food and am inspired by the beautiful seasonal bounty of the Carolinas.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Getting voted Best Pastry Chef of 2022 by a local Charlotte newspaper.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Wearing all the hats and juggling all of the responsibilities while also being a parent to three daughters. When you are the chef and owner, you have to balance sound and logical business decisions with continued creativity.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
