What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am an Intuitive Life Coach, which means I help people help themselves. I tap into clients' strengths and aid in providing a solution for their particular circumstances. I specialize in Stress Management and Infertility patients. From everyday life to a big day in treatment or a work/relationship/home situation, I demonstrate modalities to help you recognize the emotions at play and find solutions to improve your wellbeing. I often use EFT (emotional freedom technique), a pattern interrupt, which has proven very effective for overcoming highly stressful situations. My ideal client is anyone who is experiencing stress! I am passionate about helping those going through infertility treatments as that is such stress plagued rollercoaster!
Tell us about yourself
My life coach blew my mind with the concepts of metacognition, neuroplasticity, and reframing. I knew I had to learn everything I could to help others. So many people are struggling unnecessarily; a simple change of perception or approach could shift the balance in so many lives. I'm motivated daily by my children, who learn from and teach me something new daily!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Getting started! Jumping off the cliff and diving into the unknown! Like cold water, it's exhilarating and shocking at the same time!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Getting my name "out there" is gaining trust and traction. I'm a skeptic, so teaching other skeptics that life coaching can be beneficial.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Always be curious! I'm always reading or learning something new.
- Never give up! Fail forward - look up how many times Michael Jordan and Oprah Winfrey "failed."
- Surround yourself with and learn from other successful individuals without comparison.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I've "been there." I've been in the depths of hell with Infertility; I've been through divorce and post-divorce dating, grew up without a father, bad bosses, you name it! I absolutely love helping people learn techniques that can change their lives for the better. We are so much more than our circumstances.
