I have a Meta ads Agency that supports female founders to scale and grow with ease using Facebook and Instagram ads.
Tell us about yourself
8 years ago, I retrained as a social media manager and started working for myself after 13 years as a luxury retail manager. Starting my own business enabled me to set my own hours around my growing family.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Generating thousands of leads and sales for female-founded small businesses with the work I do. I’m all about women supporting women! Also, setting an example of a strong female-led to my two daughters that you can work and provide for your family on your own terms.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Sometimes- there aren’t enough hours in the day! Working around my children can mean early mornings and late nights to get everything done.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Look after your needs first; you can’t fill an empty cup.
- Set expectations early; remember you’re the expert!
- Remember to congratulate yourself when you have done a great job. Be your own best boss.
