Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Sarah Savoca, Founder of The Savoca Co., located in San Diego, CA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

The Savoca Co. is a Mindset & Confidence coaching business that specializes in helping female entrepreneurs heal self-doubt and find deep inspiration and fulfillment to up-level their business. My clients are female entrepreneurs who know that they were put on this earth for a greater purpose. They value self-growth and development, self-care, and their spiritual walk.

Tell us about yourself

In 2018, I was lost, had a terrible relationship with myself, had lots of negative self-talk, and found myself constantly overthinking. I knew that there was more out there than working a corporate job, but I didn't know what I didn't know. That year, I met my very first coach, who took me under her wing and taught me the ins and outs of personal development & entrepreneurship.

I started my very first business, and she was my guide. However, three years later, I found myself uninspired and unfulfilled. I was chasing the world of entrepreneurship instead of really understanding what I valued and living in those values. I realized that I was living in societal norms, what society told me what important, and that my business was completely out of alignment with my values. So, I quit it.

I was on a mission to make sure that I was spending my time and energy for what I was put on this earth for. After years of experience in Sports Leadership & Coaching, I came across the world of Life Coaching, and it finally felt like a full body yes.

Since then, I have invested nearly $40k into my business and helped several women (and men) like myself understand their values, feel inspired, fulfilled, confident, and make more money in their business through private coaching and events. Watching my clients succeed every day is what gets me out of bed!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Creating the confidence and a successful business that allowed me to leave the corporate world and live in alignment with what I value.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

For me, investing in myself before reaping the rewards was extremely hard. Once I realized that I was investing in the person I was becoming, it became a lot easier. And that's also when I started seeing results ;)

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You are capable of your wildest dreams, so dream BIG!
  2. Surround yourself with people who are going in the same direction as you (you are an accumulation of the top 10 people you hang around.)
  3. Celebrate all wins!! Big and small!

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

You are capable of anything you put your mind to. If you need a sign to take a leap of faith, here it is. If not now, when?
