Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in food and beverage but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Аnna Chernitskaya, Owner of The Ritual Tea Company, located in New York, NY, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is a tea company. My customers are people who care about health and wellness and intermittent fasting lovers.

Tell us about yourself

I started because when I was taking a course at Harvard Business school, I realized I drink buckwheat tea every day and don’t have many options for what to drink while I’m fasting. Honestly, I really love the wellness industry, so it’s a pleasure for me to have this business because I love to look good and feel good.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is getting started. I think it’s a pretty brave idea because American people are not big fans of teas.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Skipping my normal activities towards the work time.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. You should think about what you are obsessed with and make business in that industry so it will be a pleasure to work.
  2. Learn how to delegate faster so you can do more.
  3. Give away a lot of products.

Where can people find you and your business?
