What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is my online television network, where I try to represent African/Black Empowerment, Unity, and Truth everywhere possible. My Network features my television show titled: The House of Reggie’s Tv Show, and it is pay-per-view based. I also charge people under £5 to have their site featured on my platform.
Tell us about yourself
I saw how dark the entertainment industry is, and I told myself that I wanted to create my own platform and also give the Melanated and African people a source to call home.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Not making a big profit at all while running this business for two-plus years and never selling my soul in the process, basically staying committed to the cause no matter what.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Attracting people who are committed to mainstream media to support my brand consistently.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have a full detailed plan and an unlimited amount of backups just in case all else fails.
- Stay positive and uplifted no matter what.
- Be yourself and stick to what your cause is, no matter what.
