Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health & wellness, but not sure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Dr. Elsbeth Meuth of TantraNova Institute, co-founded with Freddy Zental Weaver from Chicago, Illinois, USA.

Tell us all about your business...

TantraNova is an Institute for couples and singles to learn the principles and practice to experience the love and intimacy they've always dreamed of.

What's your background and motivation to grow?

I immersed myself in the study of the ancient practice of Tantra that opened me up to sexual- spiritual self. Deep healing and clearing allowed me to see unconscious programming around love and intimacy. I came to experience deeper trust in myself and see that I no longer needed to look for love outside—I discovered love within as a state of being.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Working with clients around the world and seeing their lives and relationships change exponentially through their learning with us.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a solopreneur?

Being at peace and moving with ease in the face of uncertainty and risk.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run or grow a small business today?

  1. Be passionate and clear about your offer.
  2. Generate clients right from the onset of the startup instead of fussing with getting all the administration, organization, and infrastructure in place.
  3. Have selling and marketing be your key priority in skillset and focus

If there was one thing you could do repeatedly to help grow your business, what would it be?

Seize every opportunity to speak - in-person or virtually - in front of audiences that resonate with our offer and share with potential clients the opportunities of love and intimacy learnings that TantraNova provides.

What are some of the things you put in place to maintain a healthy work/life balance and to keep it all together?

Freddy and I work out several days a week; we love to eat healthily, have regular meditation practices … and laugh a lot. This allows us to be fully present and available in the office and when working with clients in workshops or private sessions.
