Tell us about yourself
I've been an instructor, trainer, and coach in the fitness industry for 25 years. Currently, I have a group coaching program on Facebook - The Perfect Balance Tribe and do 1:1 coaching.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
To evolve and change. 20 years ago, when I started The Perfect Balance, I focused on food/fitness only. Now, I know it's about so much more. Sleep, meditation, balance, a whole different way of looking at food, and fitness.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I really enjoy what I do. If anything, it's when my clients don't follow the plan and do not have success on their weight loss journey.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Set up a support network. Whether that is other people in your field or a business group, support is paramount on this journey.
- Get a coach. It's great to be accountable to someone.
- Never give up on your dreams.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
My motto is, "Your health is your wealth!" In our society, we are so so busy all the time. Taking time for yourself and your health isn't selfish; it's self-care!
