Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in coaching, but not sure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Sean McCormick of Seattle
What's your business and who are your customers?
I work with masters in their field to up-level their performance. Through classic coaching exercises, out-of-the-box techniques of NLP and more...I help driven people up-level faster than they ever would on their own.
Tell us about yourself
I left a cushy sales job in 2010 to launch an unproven (now proven) chain of wellness businesses and have never looked back. I sold the businesses in 2018 to refocus on the value I bring to the world.
I am here to serve humanity to help elevate consciousness and ground the body. Now, with a podcast, coaching roster and upcoming health optimization platform - it's time to level up again.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Success in creating a market for sensory deprivation tanks in Seattle. Successful exit after 7 years. 1M+ downloads and monetization of my podcast. Over 5k hours coaching high level performers to be their best and live their best lives.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Detail and organization. For those of us who like shiny objects, organization is a skill that I continue to work on.
What are the top 3 tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Test demand early. Surround yourself with people that support your idea. Sleep.
If there was one thing you could do repeatedly to help grow your business, what would it be?
Marketing at every level. Scaling content over and over again is essential.
What are some of the things you put in place to maintain a healthy work/life balance?
Time blocking, alone time, meditation, spiritual practice, household communication, exercise, sleep, nootropics, psychedelics, journaling, screen management and MANY more.
What are some favorite resources you recommend to other entrepreneurs?
The Master Key System. Paul Chek. The War of Art. Think and Grow Rich. 48 Laws Of Power. Bold. The Science of Getting Rich.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I go deep. Fast. Some of the most interesting topics we could cover are fairly "out there." So if you're willing to go there, we'll have an incredible conversation. If you prefer to keep it more accessible, that's cool too - I have lots of wisdom to share.
Where can people find you and your business?
If you like what you've read here and have your own story as a solopreneur that you'd like to share then email firstname.lastname@example.org, we'd love to feature your journey on these pages.
