What's your business, and who are your customers?

Tell us about yourself
I'm a filmmaker and fractional creative director who has been on a 17-year journey to understand the principles of manifestation. Growing up in a cult and feeling so far away from the life I desired, as a young adult, I struggled to get myself into rooms with powerful people. Once I did, I asked them all the same question: "What advice would you have for someone in my shoes?" I found that all of their answers fell into 3 categories, and they all were practicing not only the law of attraction but all universal law principles in combination with success principles and an expert-level understanding of science: neuroscience, physiology, physics, and more.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Never giving up. This process is a journey. Your mission cannot grow unless you do. So just surrendering to the process, breaking down the ego, which is also a process, and learning to lead by inspiration, not intimidation.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Wrapping your head around just how much you don't know. I've worked in marketing for decades now, and I still learn new things every day. Most importantly, that if you're trying to do something new, it's important to master the fundamentals first and then innovate from there.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Give yourself a runway.
- Practice Shu-ha-ri principles.
- Enjoy the process — the destination is not the victory; it's the journey.
